Spartacus Blood and Sand Episode 12: Revelations

The man that rocks the arena of Rome proves that he definitely got a nerve of steel. All thanks to the producers for pushing the show not only to merely monetize the project but also to give the fans a trip to Rome’s epic battle ground. I’ve seen Whitfield’s other projects but I never thought he could play a lot terrific in his Spartacus role- I could score for a perfect for that. His “Gabriel” movie was quite… (wait, I’m trying to pick up the right word) hmmmm… I could go for entertaining and a sleek one as well. But comparing the two, Spartacus is more bold and heroic the reason I can’t resist to watch Spartacus Blood and Sand- I bet were the same, right?

Let me ask you something, what else do you expect in the show? More blood to spill-check, romance- check, thrills and cliff-hangers- double check, what about some pants of jeans for the gladiators, they’re always in leather briefs and skirts most of the time-LOL

Anyway, enough of the wise cracks already. Previous episode was a smooth one, heart-melting and quite moving. The thrill was also well baked, it drags me at the edge of my seat- deserves two thumbs for that. Next episode would be Episode 12, what to expect then. Actually I don’t have a clear picture about it but I’m sure it’s worth digging a popcorn. Here’s the synopsis excerpt;

Glaber’s arrival was already anticipated by Lucretia and Batiatus. Glaber is Spartacus’ former commanding officer, the equally evil career- Army husband of Illithyia. After slaying Solonius in the arena, Spartacus plans revenge against Batiatus as well as Glaber whom he blames for everything that has happened to him. Mira warned Spartacus that if he pursues the murder plot of Batiatus and Glaber, he is risking not only his life but the life of slaves due to Roman laws. When Glaber arrives, Spartacus is ordered to fight against his soldiers as demonstrations of his skill. Meanwhile, Lucretia discovered the relationship between Crixus and Naevia. Lucretia is now pregnant and her relationship with Crixus was revealed to Batiatus. Also, mystery behind Barca’s death is finally revealed to Doctore by Naevia after she tells him that both Batiatus and Lucretia ordered her to lie about Barca’s fate.
