Don’t watch Spartacus season 2, hate it as much as u like, and prepare yourself to be struck by a thunder bolt from the Roman Gods-LOL. Just kidding anyway, actually I myself like this series that much. It’s not only quite good shaped tv series but also a certified jaw breaker- it always make my jaw hang loose. You’re not just watching pretty guys wearing shiny armors and kinky leather skirts, swinging their swords just to make them look heroic. Have you watched the Hercules? He’s just bragging his biceps, but dude where’s the action? Nothing indeed.
But anyway here’s the catch of the next episode in Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Things are getting vivid, I mean it, it is more vivid than blood. Varro’s death, who is it really to blame? It’s only a simple principle that bugs our valiant hero, is it to choose his own life or take his best friend’s- it’s like pulling your own leg isn’t it? Spartacus is having a pretty tough time confessing to Varro’s wife, Aurelia, that his best friend died by his hands. At the same time, Spartacus was weakened by a wound inflicted during his fight with Varro – poor guy, it’s like burying himself in a pit. While he recovers with the help of the medicus and Mira, visions of Varro and Sura haunt his feverish dreams, urging him to “tend the wound”. Why does the prime protagonist has all the pain, sorrow, hardships and bloodsheds? Because it makes them more heroic. Meanwhile, Spartacus discovers that Batiatus was responsible for Sura’sdeath and Crixus reclaims some of his lost glory. On the other hand, Batiatus is getting on his nerves pursuing his evil plans. First he kidnapped Magistrate Calavius to confront him about his grudge and plot to murder him. After killing Clavius, he and Ashur sucessfull put the blame on Calavius’ death to Solonius ways.

“Old Wounds” episode is directed by Glen Standtring, story by Dan Filie and Patricia Wells and teleplay by Daniel Knauf. Original air date is April 2, 010. If ever missed the it, you can still dig for Spartacus megavideo or watch Spartacus online. See yahh at the arena.
