Just like Liam McIntyre hinted before the episode hits the screen, the season ender would be devastating, as so it was indeed. With major character being dead, the episode stresses a kind of story telling viewers has been longing to see (and we mean it) in for years. The season ended with some outrageous twist to the story which we thought could never happen.

The episode not only raised the level of what “epic” means to another plenary, but also leaves us in astounding awe of the whole episode unravels.

On their battle against Glaber, Spartacus and men held back on the cliffs of Mt. Vesuvius, they grew weary and hunger as some of the rebel begin to falter, Mira took the agony and sacrifice her life (she died with an axe on her chest by the way) to ensure cadence among the ranks, angered by her death, Spartacus attacked her assailant and pounded some sense the supposed deserters weary minds. It is kind of sad to see Mira die in the episode knowing that she and Spartacus had made connection to one another, she was her confidante and consort at times. But her death was not into vain. Oenamaus who was killed in the battle as he tried to help Gannicus in killing the Egyptian mercenary whom Gannicus was losing, the duo both reconciled of the bad things of the past before Oenamaus took his last breath. Ashur was also killed as well, after Glaber bought his men against him (Ilithyia convinced his husband to turn against the praetor trusted ally), he was sent to the cliffs and ended a brutal death from the hand of now a well trained Naevia who Ashur repeatedly raped back then.

The epic showdown of Glaber and Spartacus finally happened. Spartacus, who longed for revenge of his wife death, gave a Glaber a mouthful of steel sword to his demise. Ilithyia and Lucretia had their time, after seeing Lucretia’s unimportance Glaber ordered his wife (Ilithyia) to dispatch her once ally then Lucretia, but in a divine twist of events, Ilithyia broke her water bag when she is about to deliver Lucretia to her death. Grabbing the opportunity Lucretia ripped open Ilithyia womb to take her child, bloodied and half-craze, and bounded by his brother desire to have a male child Lucretia tossed herself over the cliff delivering “the boy child” to her brother Quintos unto the nether world while leaving Ilithyia ailing and bleeding.

Spartacus: Vengeance 2nd season finally may have ended with some untimely deaths of the characters, but their deaths only highlighted to what is about to unfold on the next season of the show in 2013. And we believe it is nothing but devastatingly in epic proportion.

This Friday at 10 PM ET, in the 2nd season finale of the show, both opposing groups will finally meet up for a final showdown of might and wits. Spartacus and his men (although restless in the outcome of the battle) are getting ready to face Glaber’s forces of Roman soldiers.

On an interview with Spartacus ( Liam McIntyre) admitted that he wasn’t expecting that the finally would be that big, he even admits that it would be devastating. Describing of the whole outcome of the battle (the question there is devastating for whom?). Liam also hinted the possible scenarios of the season finale. “It’s bigger than I could possibly imagine. I read it and I just can’t understand — I’m so excited to see it, because I can’t understand how they can do what they are proposing that they do”, Liam stated. As he points out special scenes created to highlight the climax of the series season ender episode.

When he was asked on how could Spartacus lived the battle to tell the tale, Liam hinted, “There’s some excellent strategy from Spartacus,” he quipped with a nod to his Thracian slave warrior turned rebel leader alter ego. The actor also admits that he hasn’t seen the final episode yet, bit curious of how the producers of the show would make it as grandeur as possible , as he takes reference of the scripts when they shoot the final episode for the season. But according to him, knowing the people behind the show (headed by executive producer Steven DeKnight and tem) it would surely be a blast with proof of good reviews from the previous season and prequel of the show.

The final episode Spartacus: Vengeance “Wrath of the Gods” takes place at Mt. Visuvious, where Spartacus and his men takes temporary refuge after being chased down by Glaber’s forces. Weary of hunger and thirst, Spartacus would once again rally his men into a battle that would make them immortals.

In their brief moment, Ganiccus talked Spartacus of the restlessness among his fellow rebels implying for a deserters and ultimately losing the battle, Spartacus answered him that the only way to have an upper hand on this upcoming battle is to be stead fast and a sound plan, implying the area advantage for the rebels. Gannicus admittedly shared his thoughts over Spartacus to be a “reckless fool” but has come to believe that with Spartacus brilliant strategies he has come a long way for his quest for liberation. Prompting Gannicus to be honored to fight along with Spartacus and fellow rebels even on their deaths.

Spartacus: Vengeance will end its current season with an epic battle between Spartacus’ rebels and the force of Rome under Glaber’s command. The two opposing group will clash on the cliffs of Mt. Visuvious. As anticipated the finale will surely be a head roller as heads of some notable characters will be rolling over as one side takes victory of the battle.

Talking about deaths in this season finale is somehow expected but , followers of the series want to see some characters to be alive and well in the next season, like all time favorites la femme fatale Mira and Saxa or perhaps the one eyed loyal Oenamaus , or the now ally Ganiccus. But then again whatever the outcome of the battle will Spartacus will still move on with his quest for freedom and hurt the powerful Roman Empire.

The season finale “Wrath of Gods” will air on Friday March 30 @ 10:00 PM ET. Prompting viewers to buckle-up and hoard the chips for we are abut to embark into a one bloody, bumpy ride.

The previous episode of the show (Monsters) culminates the clashing of characters and their personal interest in the Spartacus universe, and on the upcoming finale episode it will all soon end with dead bodies scattered as the battle for destiny and freedom awaits our protagonist. Spartacus would finally have his revenge against the mighty Roman Empire, and unfortunately for Glaber it will be his head (the writer of this article is very sure Glaber would no longer be around in the next chapters of the TV series for more vicious and powerful villains are about to make Spartacus less desirable).

And as fans would love to see on the show’s season finale, they would also surely agree to see our favorite la femme fatale take their share of the action (lovely Mira and sultry warrior vixen Saxa), we hope to see them live after the battle and hope we could see them again in the next season of the show. Ilithyia (another female character favorite) on the other hand may find truce with his husband Glaber( like shown in the previous episode), it seemed she may be entwined with his destiny as the latter persuades the praetor to finally end the rebellion and grab the honor and recognition they have been longing for, and Ilithyia seems to show all out support on his husband’s goals and who knows if she may join him in his demise.

Producers of the show offers the best of the season as this one epic episode will kick another chapter of the series Spartacus: Vengeance.

With such teasing scene for a finale spoiler, fans are anticipating that it’s going to be a big bash errr, more like clash of steel and flesh in the TV series season finale. While Spartacus are once again rallying his troops for one final push against Glaber, and a smudge on Rome’s image. Glaber on the other hand will find himself in the middle of the consequences he was built in order to gain glory and honor and likewise take Spartacus and the rebellion down. Most likely, Glaber is heading for his demise as what we expect him to be. Lucretia is somehow focused on taking herself away from the men that controls her and would not rest until then. Meanwhile she is aiming to avenge his brother’s demise against Glaber, while she plans to take Seppia out of the picture.

Monsters, the upcoming episode 9 of Spartacus: Vengeance which is the second the last installment for the current season of the series, will entail the (metamorphic) monsters and demons that were once created by the characters of the Spartacus universe as they pursuit self recognition, freedom and power. But it will take its toll from every character of the story.

The few remaining episode also kicks-off the upcoming new chapter of the storyline in which would take a more grandeur scoop as the rebellion already takes notice within four walls of Rome. Caesar on his rise to prominence will also be included on the storyline and would also make influence on the story. While another villain more influential than Glaber, for he is the most richest general of Rome who also hungers for power and recognition. Will set to hunt down Spartacus and end the rebellion and earn the honor entailed to it.

On the news that Gannicus (who finally decided to join the rebellion, and ultimately declined Glaber’s enticing offer) headed the abduction of Ilithyia, both Glaber and Ashur scour every brothel where Gannicus could be while everyone one on site, while Ashur delight himself by looting every corpse with their possession, a move that let Lucretia saw an item belonging to her twin brother, this happened while Lucretia asked for Ashur help in dealing with Seppia to squeal something. Seeing the twin snake armlet ,Lucretia confronted Seppia once more about Glaber’s dealings with her brother’s demise only to be interrupted by Lucius, heralding the message Spartacus has sent him for.

Angered Glaber, set a trap against the rebels demanding for a wagon filled with weapons and armor. On the set meeting place, a verbal confrontation happened, alluding Glaber to see his wife who was released in the woods by Spartacus. While Lucretia’s hate for Glaber intensified she aims for her love toy Seppia for revenge.

More monster are about to break lose, as Glaber is set to obliterate the rebellion while Spartacus is rallying up his men into a bigger fight aiming to hurt Rome in Capua (primarily) and create a ripple through the empire. Lucretia is set to destroy everyone on her path, while at the moment she needs to break free from the commands of men which compromise her fate. And Glaber will finally reap what he has planted in the garden of fate, an imminent demise is clear written all over his face.

Spartacus: Vengeance Episode entitle Monsters, does not only entails literal monster but also the little monsters within our characters mind and soul which are itching to break lose.

Gannicus persuaded his master Batiatus to revive the idea to sell him to Tullius, with he may be able to avenge the House of Batiatus by killing Tullius personally although Solonious expressed his worries regarding the matter instead presented a more sensible approach which decided the final move to eliminate Tullius, while protecting his position at the same time.

Meanwhile on the opening of the games in the arena of Capua,delight spectators a spectacle of bloody combat amongst gladiatiors. Melitta was replaced by Naevia as the new personal slave to Lucretia, who also promised her that no man shall ever be allowed to touch her just like what had happened to Diona, who also made a surprising comeback after she was caught.

Gannicus after earning victory in the opening games of the arena, was granted freedom and left the ludus although he entrusted its future to (the not so neophyte anymore) Crixus who was then and then heralded as the new champion of the Capua.

The series was a prequel to Spartacus: Blood and Sand, but to some it’s more like a spin-off on the continuing saga of Spartacus. On the next chapter, Spartacus will rise from the ranks of the slaves and started the servile rebellion. He will be bound to his revenge for the torment which befalls to him and by keeping his band of freed warriors intact as they fight for a bigger and common cause.

Crixus, the unexpected victor of the Viras games, determined to prove his worth in the House of Batiatus was enticed in the struggle for power under the said stable of gladiators. By a way of an answer on Titus’ ultimatum for Batiatus, which is to choose whether his wife or his home. Batiatus sought to stall more time before answering his father, but this was not taken fairly by Lucretia who construed it as an implication that his husband will leave for the sake of his family. But nevertheless, the wise Lucretia convinced her husband to be at ease as she makes her plans to grace her husband’s longing for a son.

Melitta and Gannicus seem to enjoy their growing longing for each other. Gannicus has planned for a good life for them, seeing a possible freedom after the next games orchestrated by the senior Batiatus. But unfortunately it never happened as her destiny was to die of poisoning along with Batiatus father, Titus. The plan was orchestrated by Lucretia when she poisoned Titus (and accidentally Melitta) with the wine she offered to his father-in-law.

The episode is second to the last of the Spartacus: God of the Arena, the prequel to Blood and Sand. And on the final installment more our characters will find themselves on the crossroads of fate, as Ganiccus will fight not only for his life in arena, but the title of being the champion of Capua along with his freedom. Batiatus will finally make his revenge on Tullius into motion ah seeks to collect all dues from the crime lord. Lucretia will play a major role in the making (or breaking) the House of Batiatus.

Titus sermon his son regarding his place in the hierarchy, as he berates to clash with the powerful crime lord Tullius, the patriarch teaches his to know his place and respect and fear the Tullius. Gaia met an acquaintance from Rome a long time ago and she introduced the male visitor to Lucretia. The visitor spontaneously inquires the pleasure being offered under the house of Batiatus, referring to the steamy entertainment Batiatius once offered to Varis as he sought a primus position for his prized fighter, the Celtic Gannicus. Gaia sees it as an opportunity to gain reputation for the House of Batiatus as she eagearly prepare for such revelry, she was pre-empted by the senior Batiatus who vehemently opposed the idea of such accommodations under his roof and asked the visitor to leave within a day or two. Knowing this, and the troubles brought by the presence of the Batiatus’ father Titus, Lucretia sided with her husband by preparing risky schemes to albeit the arising dilemma amidst disapproval from his better half. After Crixus unexpected victory, Gannicus is currently placed in a very sticky and unstable ground.

Will Gannicus muster the strength to overcome the impending doom? Would Batiatus once again, eluded by his dream to run the House as his father seems to press his authority in almost everything under his roof. Would Lucretia succeeded with her risky schemes to address the rising conflict, or would the House of Batiatus would gradually fall by the disarray and turmoil within its ranks? This question and more will be given answer in the next episode of the Spartacus: God of the Arena “Reckoning”.

Spartacus rebellion will somehow be opposed by these new characters at bay. Key characters will play a major part on the Spartacus universe as these new persona will either make or break Spartacus. Next season will debut (characters) Caesar, played by the Australian actor Todd Lasance. His character will portray Caesar’s rise to prominence as he is set to conquer and rule the Roman Empire. English actor Simon Merells is also joining the cast .He will personify a very rich and powerful Roman general Marcus Crassus. The Roman officer craves for power and recognition amongst fellow officers of the Empire as he craves to defeat Spartacus and end his rebellion to fulfill his ambition for authority.

Although viewers are set to love-to-hate these characters on the next season installment of the series, for the mean time they must settle with contentment for the current daddy of all “bad-ass” of the show for it won t be long before he bade goodbye as this character is heading for an anticipate death within the series. Glaber, the ambitious praetor would somehow succumb to his ambition that is to bring Spartacus to justice for treason and rebellion. He will be killed on his quest for Spartacus head, and actually on the current story line he is right on schedule as he will face Spartacus at some point which he will be defeated to death. Glaber does not only have a foe in Spartacus, much more he is also hated by his wife Ilithyia and her ally (Lucretia) and also agrees on his demise. Poor Glaber, he will be best remembered. Nonetheless after he is out of the picture, things would be more interesting as new powerful enemies are set to shake the Spartacus universe. How will these characters influenced the whole storyline… only time could tell…. errr episodes so to speak.
